Welcome to the Jeffrey Family History website, I hope you enjoy your stay.

Click on the menu bar on the left to take you further into the site and explore all the wealth of information I have gathered over the years about the families of my ancestors.

A good place to start is the “My Ancestors” page with links to my Ahnentafel Chart and Ancestor Trees which also link to descendent charts.

In the “Main Families” section you will find a history of each family and ancestral line. Further links take you to census returns, parish register entries and an index of that family members. The index then links to the individual own details page.

The “Related Families” section contains some of the above information but as I am easily sidetracked in my research this section includes many families both directly and indirectly linked to the Jeffrey family.

I’m fairly confident that most of the information on this site is accurate although doubts remain when relying on transcriptions from IGI etc. However there is weak link in my own Jeffrey line between my great grandfather Alfred Jeffery and his father Frederick Jeffery. This is described more fully on “A Leap Of Faith” on the Jeffrey family page.

On the individuals pages, sources are shown in brackets and if in red, I have a copy, and if in blue, there is a link.

Like most family history sites this is a work in progress and constantly added to but probably never finished.
